ac came on with furnace

over the weekend, we turned on the furnace, (got too cold for wife and daughter), and when the furnace kicked on so did the air. So we had hot air and cold air at the same time. What would've caused this? I've used the heat before in the fall and the air never kicked on with it

I think it will change depending how you have your fan set to auto low or high

Here is a thread on this issue:

I have it setup on auto. I'll check it out again this weekend if we need it

FYI, your AC compressor did not come on, just the fan in your ac came on.
The idea is to help air circulation in your trailer.
As stated above, if you select "auto" on your fan setting only the furnace fan will run.
If you want both fans to run select "Hi or Low" fan setting.

Furnace coming on on AC

If you have Dual Air Conditioning & Heating be sure you are on Auto for Zone 1 and Zone 2. Make sure Zone one is on AC and not Heat or it will come on to combat zone 2. I had the same problem when I got my Prime Time Sanibel. I hope this helps you.

His TT has only 1 A/C w/o heat strips. So, only 1 zone. X3....fan should be set to "auto".
