lol! Been more than one post on this subject. It seems to be a,I guess you could say thus far a minor gripe about the Crusader line of fifth wheels. We replaced ours with a slightly wider but not taller swivel recliner chair.Got it here in Md. from a I believe a national furniture chain called Haverty's.They called it the Sydney swivel recliner. The back does come off so getting it in the fiver was not difficult. And it fits fine with the two slides closed. You pay upwards of 30-40-50 grand for a decent RV.It's a shame you have to pay an additional sum ourselves for decent chairs huh! Hope this helps.

I thought that you could order with optional recliners. That being the case, you should be able to find a residential wall-hugger style that will fit.

We had a bernards 7763 micofiber recliner in our other trailer and put it in the Crusader for this trip. Great chair and the slide will pass by it on the curb side. It is about half the weight of the standard chair so it is very easy to move. It uses a ottoman which helps on the weight. We've had it for a year now and it has held up well. We want to order another one but they are out of stock at most places on the web. (got ours at a retail store last year) Supposed to be back in stock next week. Watch the prices - they range from $269 to over $500 for the same chair. You can get a vinyl one for a little less but we didn't like the looks or feel. NFI but happy with our purchase. Now what to do with the old (new) rockers...............

We found a lower cost option by adding 2 ottomans purchased from Wal Mart that work really well. It definately changed the comfort level of the standard swivel chairs that come with the Crusader line.

Our FW came with LazyBoy leather rocker recliners as a $1100 option. In our previous tt, we had purchased the same fabric covered chairs from the LazyBoy store for a little over $800 for the pair.

thanks for the input. Some friends of ours have ones like pryner mentioned. I believe I like those the most. easier to move around...... I have noticed that storing the rocker is starting to "rub" a spot into the wall in the back. anyone else having this issue?
