2013 295rst has a Jensen AWM910 radio cd player in the bedroom. Doesn't have a remote or blue tooth. I got tired of climbing in to adjust the volume or change the station, so I installed a Jensen AWM968 that has a remote and blue tooth plus many more bells and whistles. Now I can use the remote outside or use my Bluetooth on the phone and use Pandora and more.

Good idea! I will be looking into something along that line as well. The bedroom speakers in my 290 rlt sounded like wet cardboard. Nothing wrong with them, just crappy speakers. Being a sound guy......those are now gone and I replaced them with some from Parts Express Electronics.

Does this unit have a power switch for it? The light from my radio in the bedroom drives me nuts. I never use it and will eventually probably just slide it out and unplug it and leave it that way.

If you have a Jensen AWM914 you can turn the light off in the settings.
I couldn't cope with the bright blue light either.

Yes it has a power button, dims the light everything off but the display showing the time. You can adjust the brightness. Haven't played with that yet, just installed it today. I didn't use the stock awm910 either, because of the lack of remote or BT.

Just a update the AWM968 does have a power button and also a brightness button + and - the lowest is very dim, but the next one turns off the lcd completely. Nice!
