Anyone have the 319QBS touring addition?

We are thinking about purchasing a 319QBS. We have 4 children ages 4-15. Just wondering if this is enough space for our family! My dealership is getting a 318 in, but not in touring edition, and the 318 has no real doors in it at all. Thanks for any information or advice!!!

The 319 looks interesting. The 318's bunkhouse area is larger than the 319 basically because the slide out is larger. The 319 has an additional wardrobe in the bunkhouse but has an extra frig in place of a pantry in the kitchen. The 319 is a little lighter as well. My 318 has wooden sliding doors between the master bedroom and the living area and accordian plastic slider between the bunkroom and the living room. I really like my 318 but found the 319 to be an interesting choice.

We were thinking of the 318 also, but in the models coming out now there is plastic sliding doors in front and back. My dealer is going to see if they can put some sort of real door in the bunk room. Thanks for your feed back!!!

bk - the accordion door is only used to close off the bunk. Wood doors close off the master bedroom.

If your dealer is looking at adding a wood door on the bunk room they need to be careful not to cover the heat duct on the side of the cabinet.

The 319 is avery nice trailer. We loved the huge fridge! It is almost the same trailer as the 318 though. The reason we chose the 318 was because of the bigger bunkhouse. Especially with a newborn on the way it gives us a little more room. The 319 is a really nice trailer and was definetly our runner up trailer.

I have a 318. A larger fridge would be nice, but not at the expense of that great cupboard next to the existing fridge.

The place we are getting it from has no more touring editions of anything but the 319, so I think that's what we are going with. Excited about the fireplace even though we live in central Texas!!LOL Just hoping the bunk area will be big enough. The weight was also an issue. Our tow vehicle's limit is 8000Lbs. So, the 319 is better with that issue.

We had the choice and chose the 318, Three things.
1. More room in the bunk house, it is much more comfortable when we had the 3 kids in it vs. the 319.
2. The pantry storage. While I can appreciate the large fridge the 319 offered, truth is, dry storage is very important for large family camping.
3. 318 was 2g's cheaper
If you can step out to a larger market to find a 318 touring edition, I would take that road. Our dealer still has a few because they ordered the most of ant dealer in the country.
My 2 cents.

Our dealer in Vermont has both a 318 and 319 in the touring edition. A bit of a hike from Texas! We bought the second 318 TE they had. The 319 has a massive refrigerator, otherwise very similar.

What type of vehicle are you planning on pulling with? I'm in the market to purchase a similar trailer and need a new tow vehicle as well.

It's a 2007 Escalade ESV with the 6.2 lit. engine all wheel drive. My brother-in-law knows a lot about engines and says it can tow way more than the 8000lbs it's rated. However, we really don't want to chance it. We just signed the papers today. We are really excited. I know the back isn't as big as the 319, but for our needs/tow vehicle it's a great choice. Hope someone else out there gets one. So far no one has replied that they have one. We take delivery on the 25th.
