As hour 2 of insomnia sets in, I begin to curse stupid blue light!!

If you have a newer Crusader you may know what I am talking about, in the bedroom above the headboard is 2 LEDs that have independent switches that are backlit by a blue led. Normally when you first go to bed it's not very bright but as time goes and your eyes adjust and they become quite bright! Has anyone done anything to fix the led to stop it from being so bright???

I had to put electrical tape over lighted switches.... DW couldn't stand the blue light. I didn't even notice it, but she couldn't sleep.

I found a way to stop the blue lights keeping me awake.
I closed my eyes.

Pull the switch and clip the led wire lead.

Good answer! I assumed the LED was powered internally. I'll have to check that out.

If you can't do that, just get some black paint and paint it.

Or replace switches with ones that are unlit.

I know what you are saying. Our DVR`s have the blue LED`s when it`s on HD. it used to drive me nuts too! felt like it lit the entire room! after awhile I forgot all about it.
