Auto level issues.

Seems I spoke too soon on the new crusader. I can not get the rear jacks to move for the life of me. It could be operator error I guess. Does anyone know where I should start to trouble shoot? It also gives an error message for LR jack

Turn the control panel off then press the top bottom 10x's then the bottom 10x's and turn it on then try it again that will re zero everything. if all fails unplug the board then replug it in that should do it. make sure your control panel is off when you do this......

Thank you GL, by top and bottom do you mean front and rear? And how do I unplug the board, I reckon you mean the control board in the front compartment? Unplug each connector?

Yes That is what I mean, you should have only 1 plug in the back of the control board. I would try the zero first.

After the very first time I used auto-level on my rig, I vowed never again. It jacked us so high off the ground we needed ice-picks and crampons to reach the entry steps.

I now use a procedure that minimises the height off the ground. Firstly, if the site is significantly off-level, I'll request another one. Second step is to lower the jacks to just touch the ground.

I then figure out which pairs to lower to minimise the total lift. My rig has a control panel that works the jacks in pairs (front pair, aft pair, right pair, left pair). I took a few trips beofroe I figured out how best to use it, but I can now level within a couple of minutes after docking and withoug raising any of the wheels off the ground.

The only place we go where this doesn't work is our daughter's home driveway. We end up withe the front wheels about 12" off the ground and need a bathroom step stool to reach the bottom step at the door!

Zero didn't work. I called Lippert and they were really of no help. I have ruled out motor failure obviously since neither rear jack works. So, they are not getting power or a signal. The control panel orange light lights up when I push the rear button.

Auto level issues.

I had issues with my level up system a few weeks back. I had power but had error messages when I tried to deploy the legs. Fortunately, I was only 10 minutes away from the dealer and so took it there. I'll try and give you the information he showed me.

From your hydraulic pump, find the red power cable. Follow this back to a set of connectors. Where the red cable connects to these, feel above the connector and there is a small (very small) reset button. Press that down and it will reset the auto level up system. Unfortunately, I don't have my work cell with me that has the photos I took of the connectors. All I remember is there are about five or six screw type heads facing you. The button or nipple reset is on the top of those and very difficult to identify that it has been tripped

Apparently they can easily trip with something such as a slight voltage drop.

You could fine the manual on line under lippert level up that might be of help to you. Also make sure your not low of hyd juice. all the jacks have to be up to tell. also make sure your battery's are fully charged. Did you try to put it manual mode? scroll through the screen to find it then hit enter. You should then be able to work each jack separately. If the little orange lite comes on you have power .

Crusaders use electric jacks not hydraulic. Not sure if that matters but don't wanna confuse op.

Yeah, sorry guys, I didn't specify, these are not hyd. jacks.

Tried manual and no go. I ended up lowering the front real low, then lowering the landing feet on the back onto boards. Then raised the front back up to put pressure on the back. It firmed things up a little bit.
