awning over outdoor kitchen

I think PT should consider putting a power awning over the outside kitchens. Rockwood is doing it. Sure would be nice to have when cooking outside in the rain...Just a suggestion for improvement RV Guy. I know you are always looking for ideas to improve your products.

Maybe the OP is wanting a bigger one?
Find a damaged one at a dealer, cut it down and mount it.

but I agree on both counts, the door does kinda act like an awning, but having seen the Rockwood with the 2 awnings, it would be nice.

Rain blows in, runs down the side of the frame and into the kitchen area. I have had water leak-in to the point I had wet carpet in the bunkroom.

We were very excited when we found our Tracer 2013 230FBS. The previous models did not have the awning over the outside kitchen. The model we found has a large awning that covers the outside kitchen. We fell in love with this feature.

You know - there are some things you just don't do outdoors when it rains. Perhaps using a RV outside kitchen is one them.

I will not cook anymore in the rain....but I could if I had an awning as originally posted. Evidently I am in the minority though....

I'm fine using the lift gate wall as the cover for the outdoor kitchen. If there is blowing rain out, I'd have no desire to use it anyway.
