awning trouble

Took out our 27bbs for easter wkend camping was quit a bit colder than we hoped for. Water line froze up in the mornings no big deal just crawled under with a heat gun and gently heated it, fixed. Everything else went great furnace kept us nice and warm. Opened awing for first time since this was our 1st trip with the trailer. One side of awing drops so low the door rubs it. push it back up and it drops back down. non power awing, think its a lippert. Any suggestions

Don't understand "push it up and it drops back down". Is it an A&E Dometic Awning? Each side rail has holes for locking the awning with a selected drop. Maybe a different animal than I am familiar with.

Are you sure you unrolled it all the way? After you unroll it, you slide the two support rails toward the end of the awning until they lock into place. Then you raise the awning with the locking handles to the desired height. The only reason it would sag is if it was not extended all the way and/or the support rails were not slid forward and locked into place. Hope this helps.

Is it a Solera awning by LCI... Solera® Manual Awning

Are you talking about the pitch adjustment on the awning arm not staying in place?

Have you looked at the bottom most video...shows the friction joint (@ 0.57) you adjust to have water run off. Is this your problem that the friction joint won't stay straight and the awning tills to that side?
