Awning With Bubbles

On our last outing in the 270 RET Crusader, we noticed several " bubbles " forming on the underside of the Awning..it was raining at the time...later when we rolled the awning in, we noticed that the "bubbles" seem to get smaller as if water was being squeezed out of them...when the awning was rolled back out later, the fabric had wrinkles in at least seven places...that is the way it looks now...wrinkled in seven places....We assume the awning consist of two layers of fabric an it seems one is becoming apart from the other..the coach is going back to the dealer tomorrow for there inspection..Anyone else had this problem besides us..
This is a 2011 Crusader 270 RET....only our third outing since purchased back in 11/2011...

Time for a visit to your dealer, or an email with pictures, sn,etc to the awning mfg for new awning matl. I would ask about a replacement with the metal slats to protect it when rolled up. I would pay the difference in cost.

My awning did that. I sent pictures to the dealer, who sent them to awning people, who sent new fabric. I did edit the pictures in the Paint program. I took a red pen and circled all the bubbles, just to make it easier to spot in the pictures. Dealer made appointment with me and the fabric was changed while I waited. Took less than 2 hours, but I have a small awning, 16 feet. All under warranty. Got free lunch too. All was done over 3 years ago and has been fine since.

My awning did the same thing when it was new, except you could only see the bubbles when the awning was in the sun and the heat made them more visible. Replaced free under warranty.
