Bedroom accordion door nut

Anyone got a fix for the bedroom door retainer bolt/nut? Someone hit it and the wood behind it is messed up. I thought of just using some Velcro.

Go to your local hardware store,HD, Lowes and buy some "Plastic Wood" or some such wood repair product. Put it in the hole as it is then after you have put al you can in (it won't take much) then press the pieces back into place and let it dry. If you can just relocate the door retainer if you can.

If this was where the male part of the snap went I think what I wold do is take a 2x2 square of thin stainless drill the four corners for small stainless wood screws then drill the center and remount the snap.

That would be a good fix. Only issue is the hole in the door would not line up anymore.

if use the plasti wood you can put it back where it was. Drill a new hole in the door?

Yeah I guess put it back in before it dries.
