I did similar on last Friday....I had the oil changed ( synthetic) and had my tranny flushed and changed with (synthetic) and did the transfer case as well as both front and rear diffs again with synthetics. I also installed Firestone air bags. Getting ready for the new Rockwood.

Right on, those are cool. Are those load lock bars? How well do they work, can you get them pretty tight?

they are load locks . yes I can get them tight the locking lever is adjustable so I just move it in or out till I get the right tension then lock the lever over center !
when Im hooking up I just flip over the lever and when my stabs come up they just follow.
I was really impressed they worked out so good for my total investment .

Jtad, how long did take to install those Steadyfast rigs? But most importantly do they seem to work as advertised? This is our first fiver and I have to tell ya the wiggle factor seems more prevalent in this unit than it ever was in our previous TT's.

I had the JT Strongarms installed before I picked up the newbie... not perfect, but reduced by about 85%. I think the rest is always going to be there regardless.

Rattvader if you check out the mordification section over in the general forest river section i did a little write up about it and took some pics.. Took about 2 hrs, pretty straight forward. And it helped a bunch!!! Night and day differnece, worth the $299. There are a couple of post on here where guys made thier own. Wouldn't be hard to do. But still $ 299 not bad, it comes with everything you need including the drill bit. Real quality product.

I will try not to hijack this thread, I just have one question for f1100turbo. What did you use for the connection on the upper portion of the landing gear for your stabilizer? I have looked at the photo, but I am not able to see how you connected the stab to the upper portion of the landing gear.

Thanks!

Jim
