There is no power venting with these units its an air turbine similar to the turbine idea used on your roof at home. Apparently the fumes inside the trailers are worse if the rig is driven down the road. I noticed a difference. Next summer will tell if they were worth the 100$ installed.
I've spent many moths withthe smell of rotten Shi$$#%@ with the military baking in the sun at 120 degrees.
Nothing I want to experience in my trailer

Are you guys talking about those weather vane looking things that sit on top of the tank vents?

The day you start burning your poop in the trailer instead of dropping it in the black tank is the day I want to be in a different state. I have no idea how you guys survived that. When the fires were burning we did not even want to open the doors to let the pax and cargo out.

I don't question that there were no problems; just if they made an improvement worth the cost.

And I can't say how much of an improvement it made either. I wasn't having any problems when I installed the Cyclone, just did it as sort of a preventive measure.

Just posted that to show the cost and where someone could find it if they where interested.

Great tips and info though. Can't wait to get my TT so I can talk about this.

Super digest-it & rv digest-it

I contacted Unique about the difference between the two products. It appears that they are the same. Good thing, I didn't know what I was going to do with the 2 bottles I purchased.

-------------------------------------------------------
Hello,
I’ve heard really good things about RV DIGEST-IT. I was at the local ACE HARDWARE and purchased two bottles SUPER DIGEST-IT without noticing the difference. Are these products similar? Can I use it in place of RV-DIGEST-IT?
-------------------------------------------------------

It is the same product, we just label it for different marketplaces.
When you dump your tank after using the super digest-it , don’t flush the tank, you want some of the mature bacteria to always stay in the tank to keep working and it keeps the sensors clean.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you for using our products!

JIMh commented before on a solar powered black tank fan . His comments basically mirror what I am saying here .
how do any of these black tank evacuation items work when the black tank is a sealed system .
only do you get air flow when you flush/open toilet which is for a mere few seconds ?
Roof vents on your house only work because you have soffit vents to draw air from .
your house vent stack works only because its an open system .

Am I wrong on this ?

Well, about 1/3 of all complaints about RV's involve plumbing issues.
Read away...

Agree....entirely too much caulk caked on #2. I like the way the camco is mounted, but like the design of the 2nd better.
