Blue lit on/off light switch - annoying
Hi folks,
We have the 351 REQ and the 2 lights on top of the bed are fine, but at night those blue lit on/off switches throw off enough light to be annoying for us.
We have no issue with those lights and blue lit switches anywhere else in the trailer, but I think the ones over the bed are lower enough over ones head that - for us at least - they are too bright.
We've tried covering them up with a piece of cardboard and tape, but sometimes they un-stick and fall, and in all honesty they are a pain.
My question is this:
Is there a way to kill those blue lights in that on/off button without affecting how the switch works? I have not pulled those lights off, as I'm not sure how they come out. Are they screw off, or do they pop out with a screw driver?
I know this is not the biggest problem to have with a trailer, but it's a small annoyance that I'm trying to deal with.
Many thanks in advance!

Yes there is but the subsequent damage would be most bothersome.
I'd just pull them out and snip the wire to the light.

Thanks! I assume you mean snip the wire to simply deactivate both lights completely? How do those light fixtures come out and which wire to snip?

They should just pull straight out, small gage wire to the bulb..
If the bulb is powered thru the switch it's self paint it over with nail polish.

If they're just standard RV rocker switches, why simply replace them with non-illuminated versions?

No they are a push button that is part of the led light fixture. We had the in our 335 when we had it and they were right above your head when sleeping. It is the dumbest thing

A pic might help jog loose some further suggestions.
