Both slide outs not working

Got the camper out of storage. All electrical works fine... fuses look good. Neither slide outs will go out. No sound from either motor when I press the switches.

Thoughts?

what is the state of your unit battery? Are you plugged into your truck (running) and not on a land line in order to get as much juice as possible from a battery (truck)?

I believe they are lippert slides. They have cables in either side, top and bottom.

Check the inline fuse between the battery and the slide motors. The slides are commonly hard wired to the battery.

dmf564 you might be on to something. I went out to look at the battery and saw this cable. Now I have no idea where it goes... any help with this?

Yeah that looks like a Hot and a Not to me. I'd be looking for the other end.

The other end goes into the camper. This was one cable the shielding is both black and red. Any idea what it is supposed to connect to? Battery terminal?

The wire you are holding looks like it had a terminal end crimped poorly to it.
I wonder if the end is in the bottom of your battery box?

Nothing in the battery box. Are we thinking it should connect to the positive battery terminal?

I am, but I am also not sure as it could have come out of a butt connector used to hook it to a fuse holder.
Is there any power to the end?

I'd suggest looking for your slide motor and see what the power cable looks like coming into it. While it's probably a good guess that it goes to the hot side of the battery, it's only a guess whithout knowing where the other end goes. Is there a empty connectory on the + post of the battery? it appears that the wire was originally crimpted to something.

That was my thought to but there is no end hanging off the battery that would indicate the wire came from it.

Where does the pigtail for the trailer terminate at, a junction box?
Could this wire have pulled out of that box if you have one?

I can't find the other end... it goes into the trailer. Didn't see it going to the fuse panel.

I am wondering if this is the main lead from where your pigtail ends to the trailer to power the 12 volt system when hooked to the TV and to charge the battery off the TV alternator.

Back with you now, had to go to work for a bit. Can you get to you slide out motors? I seen someone suggest it but no response of if you could or not.

Well you could try a continuity test between the end of you red/black wire and the white wire going to the motor. If you have a multimeter that is.
