Thumbs up Camping with new Jack Antenna

While spending about half a day at Leisure Time RV meeting RV Guy and checking out the new Sanibel, I also picked up my LaCrosse. One thing I had them do was install a Jack antenna. This thing is great. It's fixed, so no cranking up or down. It's also omni directional, but you can turn it in order to receive a stronger signal. Can't say enough about the service department at Leisure Time RV. They're great.
I had personal business in OKC so I camped at a local KOA. It's located on the east side of OKC on Choctaw Rd about 3/4's of a mile north of I-40. Less than 5 miles from my dealer. Very good KOA campground if your in the area.
My DIL, 2 grand daughters (4 & 5 yrs old) and Lil Dude (4 months old) were able to camp with me Saturday night.
Here's a few pics of the antenna and our campsite.

Yeah, I've been talking to him about catchin' some crappie and maybe pulling a few nice catfish in off of some jug lines.

He does like the water. While in the pool he had those little chubby legs kickin' and a big grin on his face.

I forgot to mention that I picked up close to 30 channels with the Jack antenna at the KOA in OKC.
At home I wasn't able to pick up anything before with the tt parked under the RV cover, on the south side of my house, 85 miles away from the tv stations to the north. I tried the Jack antenna when I got home today and I was able to pick up 11 channels!

Gonna have to get me one. If I may ask, what was your final cost?

I don't remember the total cost. I purchased some other items at the time, but I do know the antenna itself was approx $145.00.

I did, but I exchanged it out with a Vizio from wally world. That alone improved what reception I was getting, but still not good enough.

If I had a Legend tv and it was connected to a batwing antenna, I probably wouldn't have added the Jack antenna. But exchanging the tv was my first attempt at getting better reception. It did help some, but adding the Jack antenna is what really did the trick.

I had a huge improvement with mine for certain. Did they have to mount it through the cabinet like we talked about?
