Here's the finished product. As a few others have mentioned the maximum output seems reduced a bit. However the grill still heats to 600 degrees in under 10 mins on high so I really have no complaints. Thanks for all the advice.

Is the Coleman brass connector a proprietary fitting, I don't seem to be able to locate an specs on it, like it's a big secret.

They're are following John Deere's Corporate practices, on how to screw the customer, and deny them service. lol
