Cracks in gelcote Prime Time Crusader 295RST

Has anyone else had issues with hairline cracks appearing in the exterior of their 2013 Crusader? I have many. If so, how did the dealer and Manufactuer handle it? Thanks

I have one just below the front lower corner of the bedroom slide. I had the dealer take pictures of it and they are contacting Prime Time. I don't want to get it fixed until after the summer camping season so haven't pushed for an answer as to what they are going to do. I just wanted to get it documented now.

Type of fiberglass?

What type of fiberglass does your unit have? Filon? Polydet HG by Optiplan; something else? I know that PT has used different types of fiberglass. My touring edition has Polydet HG made in Germany...other units has Filon. I am not sure if they have also used one of the Lamilux versions found on other Forest River units.

I would like to know this too. Is yours a Touring Edition? This gives you the high gloss finish.

A pic would be appreciated if you can manage it.

I have the same thing on my 2014 325res touring edition. I also had the dealer take photos for a fix during the off season. Real curious as to the fix.
I have pics. but they dont show the extent of the problem.

I don't know what type of fiberglass skin Prime Time used on mine. My Ipad takes excellent close up pictures. The dealer had me take close up pics of each area and email them to them. It's going back to the Manufactuer this weekend for warranty repairs of these areas.

I'm only thinking other than replacing the whole side the would repair it like the fiberglass on a vet. I really don't have a clue just guessing. I am taking mine in during the off season so I haven't gotten any feed back yet.

I would think its just doin the bad area. Mine cracks or splintering is small 3 inches if that. Just don't want it to grow.

Update on repairs to Crusader 295RST
RV returned to factory and repaired at a factory authorized body shop. Walls are Filon. Some repairs involved skin replacement, and turned out acceptable. Other repairs involved patching, sanding, and painting over the Filon. These repairs did not turn out acceptable as they are easily detected. Factory has requested RV returned to Manufactuer for evaluation. Will post again when resolved.

I'd like to know exactly where on the trailer you are seeing these? On slides, coach walls near slide openings - top bottom etc. ? Having the same trailer I'd like to know what to look for. Also what the cause is. What is flexing and where - frame - filon itself? Thanks for any additional info.

Just noticed another spiderweb on the rear by the ladder. I am contacting dealer now to find out how I get this repaired.

not just prime time problem, had them on both cedar creeks touring editions and my Ridgeview 360, all repaired at dealer with some type of factory approved filler and repainted.

Update: My cracks have been fixed by a body shop. It looks okay but the work area does stand out more then the cracks did. Like bondo on a new car but the cracks are gone.

Unless they did something to reinforce the areas I fear this fix is only going to be a temporary one
