Welcome!

So I have the unit in my signature, not the same but in the ball park. I've got nothing but good things to say about mine. Very few problems, lots of features. Very happy.

You'll hear both good and bad here. Do you have any particular questions folks can answer?

Good luck and have fun!

well yes , I hear a lot about air conditioner not cooling well , front cap fading , slide outs not working , water lines leaking and so on . I just would like to know if this unit will stand the test of time for the next 10 years or so

Look at the tires. Lots on here have the cheap Chinese tires with a lot of problems, myself included. Cap fade seems to be a crap-shoot if yours will-or not.. You will probably be on your own as it will be not warranted, as you are not the original owner. My cap has not faded. Mine also had slide adjustment issues that dealer fixed.

Mine had bath and kitchen faucets that were marginal at best. Replaced both. anything else has just been mods to my liking.

Keep an eye on cleaning your 2 air conditioning air filters. They load up and need cleaning periodically.

By the way, mine is a ‘13 290 RST. somewhat similar overall to yours.

I seem to have to tighten the plumbing under the sink every year. It has leaked in the past but that was because the dealer did a poor job swapping my faucet. So far, no issues with the AC. Runs cold, fairly quiet. Other than that honestly I've been lucky and really have been happy with my Crusader.

Where in NY?

The good news is it has not been bouncing down the road.

We have a 2013 295 RST. Some minor issues, most recent,I had to replace the top slide seal on the closet slide out and my cap has just started to fade. But it's a good RV for us

As long as you don't plan on using it to much it will be fine.
They have a foam core floor that will go bad in 2 years of full-timing in it.
I know this first hand.
Search "soft floor" and see what I'm talking about.

That would also mean it received extensive use during the "season". Not really a problem if the PO were conscientious and clean. It means all or most of the systems got regular use but that may mean some are wearing out. A thorough PDI is warranted. Your PDI not the dealers.

The comment directly above is appropriate. The Crusader is not a full time unit, occasional use only, so being a former seasonal unit may mean heavy, but interment use.
