Have been looking real hard at purchasing a 294 RLT. Hope to make this happen soon. Any owners the Crusader 294 RLT have any pro or con advice or info ?

We have the 325RES Crusader and have had zero issues since we bought it in Sept 2013

We're really happy with our 2012 290RLT. No issues. After reading the various horror stories from others on this forum, we're either lucky or Crusader makes a better quality unit in general.

We just bought a 2015 crusader 294 but won't get to take it for a shakedown cruise for another month. Love the layout though and we have stocked it fully and have room to spare and after 50 years of camping we had lots of gear. Haven't seen many posts from 294 owners and would love to hear from some.

Just be very careful on how much gear you add. You can exceed the limit very quickly.

The only problem I've found with mine is the windows are much to be desired. Seem to be very hard to slide. Haven't had a chance to silicone them yet, as that should take care of the problem.

My 2014 EcoBoost truck has no problem pulling it.

I would say the small vent fan in the kitchen is useless. Usually you only see that particular type in the bathroom.

Something to be aware of

Nice unit but be advised.

Check for darco fabric under the slide outs. Most likely the under the fridge slide out. If it has the darco fabric, make sure your dealer puts on the wear strips before you take it home.

Are the wear strips a warranty item. I have the unit, too late to have dealer make this fix.

Do you have the darco fabric under your slide-out? Most prime time kitchen slide outs do.

It will be a long road getting them from prime time after the fact even if you have the wear, but it can be covered under warranty.
