Crusader 295 island sink drain slow

My 295 island sink does not drain can't see why. Only soapy water has been in the sink. The dealer states the sink has its own tank but I only have one grey tank valve. It appears like the system is just full. The drain worked fine when first using the sink. Of course the dealer wants it back to sheik for a pinched flex line or clogged vent. What am I missing?

you should have a second grey valve just ahead of the forward tire, tucked up high near the frame.

Look up high near the frame on the right side of the waste pipe. That's where the second gray dump valve is on our 297RSK. The dealer had no clue it was there. Only showed us one gray valve during the PDI.

My layout is similar to yours, in that the tank is located in the same location. You should not need to cut anything. You use the same drain as the other grey/ black tank. All three use the same drain, just the valve handle is located forward of the front tire, on the driver's side on my unit.....unless "the wizarding engineers" did it different on yours.

Others above are correct. The valve should be readily visible coming out of the frame just forward of the tire as mentioned. However, IF the pull handle fell off during transport (this is known to happen a lot), then you'll have to get new one and install it (screws on). Sometimes the stem that's attached to the valve also falls off. If so, you should find a hole/slot in the frame where the stem/rod used to be. In this case, you are correct & may have to cut away a small section of the underbelly material so you can reach up and attach the new rod/handle.

Easy repair.....probably took me longer to type this than it would take you to do the repair.

Crusader 295 island sink slow drain

Thanks toDwarfDogWalker, Paulie138, and rracer5. I posted a while back on an issue I was having with my battery. Then I found the battery disconnect switch by the water controls instead of by the battery go figure.

My 315 lost the galley handle the first week. Get a new one then take all three off and loctite them to the slider mech. Threads. Also you will find that the trap setup is different than the Previous trap you are used to. Very prone to clogging.

I had to replace the galley drain when mine broke. Found one on Amazon that worked perfectly.

Valterra TX9HPB 9" Extension Tube with Handle.

Our battery disconnect is in the same area with all of the water connections. It only kills the 12v, fridge, awning and water heater. Slide outs still work unless you physically dicconect the battery.

I had two of them fall off. Ended up using loctite on the threads and threading the handles into the openings. Primetime sent me new ones. Requires patience as the opening is small but do able.

My rearward one fell off (by the tires). Discovered it when getting ready to leave. Took the one for the other tank, threaded it on, dumped....got a replacement when I got home. No big deal to thread on, just have to get the feel of when it is going on the tip, then spin it on. Yes, all three are loc-tite-d on. Also, added a safety wire type loop to keep it from spinning off ever again!

LOL we must have had the same dealer because I have the exact same issue with the exact same trailer! I thought I had a broken valve when I had the other gray water handle shut and water would still flow. Turns out my second unknown valve was just opened
