Crusader 295 RST bike rack

My wife and I are taking delivery of a 2017 Crusader 295 RST. We take 2 bikes with us, each weighs 30-32lbs. I'm trying to figure out how to carry them with us. I have a short bed truck, so they won't fit in bed while towing. My wife is not keen on idea of carrying them in the trailer. Looking at having something fabricated to carry over the rear bumper, or possibly using ladder rack.

Any thoughts/experience to point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

I have a pin box mount bike rack. It came from a shop in Quebec. Works great. Load bikes into truck then from back of truck load them onto the bike rack.

I installed this...Works great and was pretty easy to install. I didn't want to have to worry about bumper supports and what not. Good luck.

Bike rack

Thanks for the responses. I believe one of those twoWill solve the issue for me. Not sure about pin box I’ll have to look for clearance with truck cab.

Thanks.

Built my own rear bumper hitch
Was cheaper to buy the material cut it to fit and have a shop do the final welds ( I'm not a prof welder) then I bolted it to the frame at the rear of the trailer. Cheaper then buying a pre made one

The most common pin box design goes above the cab so you don’t have to worry about cleanse. I like the bolt on rear design also.

Do buy a bike rack that attaches to trailer bumper can not take the bikes moving up and down will end up breaking had one break going down highway and drag on the highway
