Crusader 315RST Warranty Repairs
Last Friday I took the 5'er to my dealer for warranty repairs, Dave's RV in Claremore, OK. Great dealer and service department.
Only one main issue (slide adjustment) and a handful of minor ones, most of which I could have repaired myself, but since I was taking it in I might as well let them take care of it.
I love the way my truck pulls this 5'er. Plenty of power and got 11.6 mpg's. 83.2 miles from my driveway to the dealers lot.
On the way I experienced trucks passing me and me passing them along with cross winds and had no sway issues at all. I actually believe it pulls this 5'er easier than it did my LaCrosse tt even though the 5'er is taller and out weighs the tt by 2500-3000 lbs.
With the mild weather we've been having we can't wait to get the 5'er back. We're ready to load her up and go camping!!!!

We are loving ours. We just got off the road after living in it for a couple of months. It performed perfectly.

That's good to hear. I would think any issue would show up after camping 2 months. Overall, we love this trailer too.
We bought ours last August and have only camped 8 nights. The slide worked perfect during our PDI and the 3 or 4 times I worked it here at home. While packing up on our first camping trip is when the slide started hanging up when retracting. The first morning out we had a earthquake and it shook the trailer pretty hard. I'm thinking that might have thrown the slide out of alignment.
It did make for good conversation around the campground that morning. I think everyone performed a little impromptu PDI afterwards.
With it being a new trailer I did expect a few issues to show themselves, so I had in mind from the start to make a list and take it in for repairs before we started camping this spring.

How do you like the 315? We wanted one but Used are hard to find so we are opting for a 295 and it is a 2013. Cheapest I found a new 315 was a new 2017 down in Florida for $34,995

We spent almost a month in ours up in Oregon last spring, and several shorter trips. Like ours a lot. Had slide issues early on (alignment and underbody wear), but PT stepped up with the dealer here in AZ. No issues since. Like the plan of the 315 as well!

Yes. It was corroded contact in the front unit control board. I replaced the RJ13 head and have had no recurrence.

The 315 is a good fit for us. We also looked at a 297, which is similar to the 295 except it has an outdoor kitchen. We thought we would be okay with the bathroom/bedroom layout since our LaCrosse 303RKS had the same, but after looking at the 315 we liked the layout much better. More room and storage. That won out over the outdoor kitchen. The living area/kitchen is the same on all three models.
The price you found down in Florida is as good as RV Wholesalers. I paid more, but I wanted to buy from a dealer close by for service reasons. We bought the last one they had on the lot and I noticed when they got a couple of new ones in their asking price jumped up around $49K. I guess the 315 is popular though, because they have since sold those and are currently out.
Which ever model you choose I'm sure you'll enjoy.

The dealer called Friday to let me know the trailer was ready to go. They had the trailer one week.
They couldn't get the slide to duplicate what it had been doing. I checked it out at the dealership and it worked fine. Strange, but as long as it works okay I'm good with it. All other issues where fixed.
It's good to have a dealership that performs good work in a timely manner.
