Crusader 335BHS JT Strong Arm Mounting

I'm going to bring up a subject I know I have seen here before but can't find it anywhere.

I have installed my front set of JT's on my Crusader 335bhs. I have been seeing different things on mounting the rear set; things like there is a cross member under the enclosure, mount them forward, mount the backward, install a cross member. I don't see or feel a cross member under the panel. So I am planning on mounting mine from the electric jacks behind the tires toward the rear of the coach right to the frame. My question is, has anyone mounted this way and did you see a difference mounting front to rear?

take a few of the screws holding the underbelly out, use a flashlight & you'll find the cross member.

The cross member is right in line between the 2 jacks. I found it. But with the jacks being so far forward(behind the tires) it did not do much for movement in the bunk area when I mounted them there.

I have the same thing but I think the movement is from the leverage the slide has when someone is in the bunk or couch....a jack under that slide may help that.

I ended up relocating mine from the cross member between the jacks to going from the outside of the jack to the rear 30". I mounted it as far on the inside of the frame rail as I felt safe. It is at about a 12-15* angle and seems to work a lot better than between the jacks.

I just got me some 1 1/2" square tubing and made a cross member. Would post pic but camper is in the shop now to have a slide wall replaced.

I was going to do the same thing until I found the crossmember between the jacks
