Your best bet is to hitch up first and take her home. See how it rides, and how it sits. You may or may not need em. I have an 08 f250 and a 14 crusader. My pin is heavier than your and it does squat mine slightly out of level. It rides fine and tows like a dream, but I don't like the squating in the back so I'm adding air bags if it vet warms up. Hope this helps!

Good looking rigs. I am heading to local RV show next weekend to hopefully compare the 335bhs to a couple other contenders (Montana High Country 338db, Cougar 330RBK)...all bunkhouse models. Did they ever get the underside of the slide tearing thing fixed up for you all?

well that is good to hear! Makes you wonder if it is a design issue, or a manufacturing issue. I really do like that model. Question for you, is the queen a 60x80 or is it the smaller one? That might be an issue as I am 6ft and used to a king at home. I have a sneaking feeling the 60x80 queens are on bed slides only?

Ours is a full queen. Not short like I had in my last trailer. I don't think any crusader have a short queen

Another Happy Camper !

Brought our 2014 Crusader 335BHS home on July 9th. Looked long and hard for a 5'er in this config and saw the 335BHS at a recent show and loved it.

We have spent 4 nights over 2 trips reently and have a few minor concerns, but nothing that is a deal breaker. I will start a new thread with those, but wanted to check in here.

Congrats!!!! there are several 335 owners here that are pretty well versed with these units so just check in with any questions/concerns.
It's a great layout and has many features that most don't. The 3 that sold us were the size of the pantry, amt. of counter space and auto leveling.
Next, you'll have to check out some of the mods we've done. Enjoy!

Hey everyone,

Current TT owner looking at the Crusader 335BHS. Can someone verify the exact the length of the trailer including the spare tire on the bumper for me?

The online specs indicate that it is 37' 9". My driveway length is 38' 5" . This leaves me an 8" buffer, of which I would like to leave 6" gap between the back of the trailer and the garage.

So as you can see I am cutting it very close to fitting it in my driveway without overhanging the sidewalk.

I measured my current 292 and it should actually be called a 298. LoL

Anyone have a 2500 Gas. I have a 2015 Chevy 2500 CC 4WD 6L V8 gas. Wife likes the Crusader 335BHS. Just think the truck will struggle.

We have a 2011 Ford F250, 6.2L gas. No problems towing the 335BHS. I am about 1500lbs under GCVWR, About 800lbs under GRAWR. Have not had the rig in the mountains yet, but I expect I will have no trouble.

I think your Chebby will do ok
My '06 does a nice job with our Crusader but I probably would not try anything more 'mountainous' than what we have here in Michigan
