Crusader 355BHQ

I am considering upgrading my trailer to a fifth wheel bunkhouse. I have seen the Crusader 355BHQ online, but the closest one to me is 300 miles away. I would like to ask if any here have one & what their thoughts are on it.

We really like the floor plan with the separate bunkroom, and second bathroom. All the pictures we have seen show a large closet in the master bedroom, but the pictures look as if it has several shelves in it, and no provision for hanging clothes. Is this correct, or is there a place to hang some longer clothes in there? (ie longer coats & dresses).

Any first hand experience would be greatly appreciated before driving 300 miles to see one in person. Thanks!!!!

I don't know about the 355, but I have a 298 BHD and the wardrobe has shelves in it, but they fold up against the back wall so you can hang your longer clothes..

wrogers - I sent you a PM in response to your question.

For everyone else - yes, all of our bed slide Crusaders have rods to hang clothes under the shelf in the photos. You just can't see it from the angle of the photo.

Thanks for the responses! RV Guy I did get your PM & sent a reply to you. Unfortunately, most dealers when putting photos on their sites do not get into much detail ( inside cabinets, closets, etc.) It only makes it difficult when the only available models that you are interested in are hundreds of miles away.

JTAD -- I noticed your IAFF avatar. Are you active duty? I retired in 2009. Great to see fellow FF's on the board.

I will go look at mine!!

Yes they go depth wise. 4 rails 3 in the closet and 1 where the washer/dryer can go. It is curved like the nose cone at the top of the closet so there is no room there.

Hope this helps!!
