Crusader

I'm at a small KOA in Denhim Springs, LA and I've seen more Crusaders than I've ever seen. There were 5 Crusaders in the park this morning.

Interesting observation....We just completed a 3200 mile trip from Sacramento Calif, thru Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and stayed at 10 different KOA and Good Sam parks and didn't see one other Crusader. Saw tons of Montanas and Cougars but no Crusaders. I was thinking they didn't sell many Crusaders out West.

It's great to see others out there. I saw two being towed on the OH tollroad last week, and there was a champaign 325RES parked 4 sites down from us in MI earlier this month.
Chatted with the owners and found out they bought from the same salesman - go figure.

Completed an eight state park trek last month and saw one other Crusader during the trip. It was parked behind us at Johnson Shut Ins SP, MO. Nice family owned it... Saw one being led south on highway 281 this morning as we returned from church ...

Pretty rare out west here but did see one in my home town and another on our trip to Astoria Oregon. Same model as us right in front of us checking in to Koa. Wow.

The Lamar-Dixon RV park in Gonzales, La. has 2. Arrived yesterday with ours for a weeks visit with friends. Another was parked in the area reserved for construction workers. Both 330-MKS. About 25-30 miles from Denham Springs.

Counting

We had five at the FROG in Goshen last week, met one other couple from New York, the other two were never around there coach's long enough. Seen only one other heading up to Goshen last week. Sure glad we attended the RALLY, now our coach is almost perfect, we have heat in the living room, a new Crusader Decal on the nose, and our Dinnet Slide is perfect: Thanks Prime Time and Forest River, we are now customers for life:

Gear Drive and Motor

Ever since we purchased our Crusader, the dealer has adjusted the slide at least on three occasions, it never got better only worse. When the techs and Forest River heard and saw the slide in operation, what they recommended was a new motor and gear drive. Once installed, the slide sounds and runs perfectly. Worth the trip to the FROG Rally to have this repaired by an expert.
