Crusader dual AC question

I am going to look at a crusader tomorrow....after reading another thread here that has me concerned I want to know if the bedroom ac can be shut off while running the main. My issue is we use our rv in the fall at the deer lease and will be running on 2 honda 2000's. I know they can't power both so before i buy i want to make sure i can shut off the 13.5 and still run the 15k.

Which Crusader are you looking at and are you sure the 2nd AC has been installed yet? I could be wrong but I don't think you can order them from PT with the second AC already installed. It is done after the fact.

Crusader dual AC question

I have a 315 and only came with one ac. It's prepped for the second but not actually on there. You must add it afterwards. Anyways you should be able to control them seperately regardless.

Hmmm, interesting and thank you for the reply. Here is one that appears to have the 2nd already installed. Obviously the dealer could have done it so I am not sure.
2015 Prime Time Crusader 315RST Stock: 6385 | Razorback Camper Sales

On my dealers website they specifically state whether it has 1 AC, 2 AC's or 2nd AC prepped. The 315 I am looking at is listed as having 2. I will be a little peeved if it is a typo! That is the main reason we are upgrading so quickly.

2 completely separate units. Only common connection of the 2 might be the ducting.

At least in Heaven, RVs will be perfect, and I won't have to keep fixing them.

Prime time is back and forth on factory installs of the 2nd. AC . I believe they are offering them now. If not dealer installed is not a problem or do it yourself is not the difficult. My bedroom air in my 2014 325 res operates independently of the main unit.

Thanks Grayfox.....I should have bought a 5th wheel, with 2 AC's from the get go. Lesson learned I guess. And the dealer really didn't stick it to me too bad.

I'm happy to hear they are pre-wired for a second a/c. The 325RES we will be picking up next week has only the main one.

Additional question, similar in nature - anyone know if there is 12v nearby that bedroom vent? I might just install my 'spare' Fantastic Fan for the rest of this year.

Thanks
