Sorry forgot to address the stereo. Ours was on the outside in our previous 30 ft towable and we used it occasionally. Since we haven't been out yet in our new 5er, time will tell. When we had it in front of our house when we were loaded our stuff back in it and the stereo was on outside and it had great sound quality. I like that it is inside just for the fact that the exterior doesn't have another spot to possibly leak. We had water damage in our old trailer and I guess we are a little gun shy about any additional openings. Keep us posted with your choice

Texas RV-er - Not to sound like a sales guy, but the thought behind having 2 stereos is to provide independent listening options upstairs and downstairs. We wired the upstairs to the outside thinking maybe you would be inclined to have a desire for independent listening outside and in the living room, too.

I always thought it was inconvenient to force the same listening on the outside and in the living room. My wife doesn't like listening to the ball games on the weekends!

Feedback from customers on our decisions will always be considered.
