Crusader Kitchen Counter Strong Enough to Hold Spray Bar Faucet

Wondering if the counter top in the kitchen island is strong enough to hold this monster?

I bought from Amazon but I think it might be too heavy and don't want to get to a campground and find it cracked the countertop.

I don't see why not. I had my faucet replaced with a residential faucet that looked pretty close to the original. The residential faucet was purchased at Home Depot, and was heavier than the original faucet.

It is pretty big and heavy but after getting the old ones out, this one has a pretty sturdy base, will post photos soon after I get the Butyl crud off the sink, and pressure test all the fittings

Here is the finished setup on top of the counter, I am hooking the lines up and putting drain lines back together to pressure test for leaks...

That is a cool faucet; it should hold up provided you don't have a water fight with the nozzle.

Nope all put back together, everything tightened, triple checked for leaks when connected to the house, then double checked for leaks when running from the new Water Pump. I have to say the new Pump kicks butt 5.5gpm the pressure seems almost as good as when I was connected to the house.

I bought it in Amazon, pretty nice setup but all three lines come out of the center of the base, just made tightening a little difficult but took my time and got it done right

Thanks a lot....Cost me another 81 bucks for reading this forum. Looks great. Did you put a soap dispenser in the second hole? Hard to see in your photo.

Yep, Faucet is in tight won't budge, I put all the hoses together outside cabinet to make sure they were not going to leak. Was more trouble getting old stuff out then new stuff in. Soap dispenser you can fill from the top instead of having to unscrew the container off, pretty slick little gadget.

Here is the link for the soap dispenser

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B019R...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Follow this thread and you will see the Faucet I chose from Amazon, really nice but just tighten everything and no leaks either from House Water or Water Pump, but will keep checking for first 2-3 trips just to make sure.

This style is the OEM faucet on my Salem Villa Estate 395RET. I do like the pull down sprayer but it seems to hang too low. I have to move the faucet to the side when washing pans. I do like it better than a standard high rise though and the wife likes it so....
Good job on the install.

Mine doesn't hang that low, but I can see where it might be a pain. The stock stuff was plastic and horrible, This drop downs with sprayers are a lot at Lowe's and HD, so found this one on Amazon mixed reviews but if you take your time it turns out nice and leak free

Here is another view so you can see the soap dispenser and faucet.

I like, 2!

Wicked1.....yer killn' me with that mod. I have been wanting to do that for a while. Unfortunately for me, the wife saw it as I was looking at your install....guess what I have to do now....

Having made your install on PT's countertop, do you think it will hold up? I was thinking I might have to add a metal plate underneath for added support, or do you think it will be ok?

Was your fan install with the wired remote or the wireless? Mine was with the wired one. I had to run the wires thru the attic to the wall by the kitchen. I cut the opening for the control, used a long flexible drill bit like alarm installers use up into the attic space. Then a boroscope camera taped to an electricians fish tape to run the wires. Came out great, but had that extra step. Got the 10 speed reversible wired remote version of the fantastic fan at a killer price during a close out.

Lol sorry it was something special I did for my DW, she didn't even ask for it but I hated the stock unit.

The one I got was wireless, $188 from Amazon it has 10spd reversible and rain sensor although I have the Maxxair roof vent cover so doesn't matter just a great price. I was going to get the one with the auto lid but didn't think spending $300 was worth it and happy with this one, opens quick moves a ton of air each way. Took me more time to get the old one out and roof cleaned up then it did to install it

Why are there 3 lines? Shouldn't there just be a hot and a cold?

Hot/Cols and third line is sprayer nozzle, so out the bottom there is three copper lines and then they give you the braided 12" lines to connect from faucet to water and one line connects back to sprayer hose

That was optional, so now that will go into the cooler so I can sit outside with a 10 foot hose and get plastered sitting in my camping chair [emoji848][emoji104]

Talking Hoser

Just be sure to use an insulated hose, lest the beverage warms up traveling that 10'
