Crusader slide toppers?

Next few weeks I will look at having slide out toppers installed on two slides. Its less than thrilling walking up on the roof when its damp. I tried brining in the slide without wiping it down and that was a huge mistake. Anyone have them installed on their Crusader? I regret not having this done in April when we purchased the 296 BHS Crusader new.

My last RV had them took them for granted they are really useful especially for a 5th wheel.

Yep gonna cost a lot more than having them installed at the factory.

Had mine installed by CW this spring when toppers and labor was on sale. Planned on having them installed in December when the 5er was purchased until they told me I'd save a bit by waiting a short time.

I have them on all 3 slides. Only downside is when you are in a big windstorm they get noisey. Only happened right on the ocean. More benifit than drawback with the sun shading and water and debris they keep off. I had the dealer install at purchase.

We had them installed by dealer when we bought our Crusader - they were on our must have list as we are seasonal on a wooded lot

Slides are left out all summer but we are not prone to winds

We do put slides in while unit is at home as our house can get some pretty wicked winds at times....more for security and not noise though as we are not staying in it at home

I have these drip rails above the slides they have a channel wonder if they can pass one side of the slide topper in the channel?

Take a look at what I am referring to.
