Crusader's first trip back to the dealer

Thanks to Jeff and Brandon for the help. Got it hitched up and ready to head off to the dealer. Going to have the Black/Grey water issue looked at, fix the TV Coax, I have a slide switch that sticks in the "OUT" position and I've blown 2 fuses now(one this morning that reminded me of it) on the landing gear. Dodd RV in Yorktown/Portsmouth is a great dealership, I'm sure they'll have me back on the road in no time

Did you find out what caused you to blow a fuse on the landing gear. I just took my first trip with my 290RLT and a blew the fuse on the landing gear when I got home.

Yep, there shouldn't be a fuse there. The fuse was replaced with an auto resetting circuit breaker. Guess this is a fairly common problem/fix. All is good now.

Was your TV Coax the booster or something else? Brandon is sending us a new booster because ours has gone bad?

Brandon is sending us a new booster. Ours just went bad. It was working last Sunday but when we went to test out the bedroom TV this Sunday it wasn't working. Our first trip is next weekend so hopefully we will have all the little things worked out by then.

Mine came with 30A fuses and they still blew. Not a single issue since going to auto reset circuit breakers.

Landing gear

My dealer and I discussed the one time this happened. He advised me not to put the landing gear all the way back up. This does not put as much strain on that circuit. I am on a long trip now and have not had problem since leaving down about 4 inches.

I am having problems with my tv not working with cable tv at the parks. Is this the booster problem you have discussed?

I didn't know my booster was bad actually. My original problem was with the coax between the connection on the trailer and the booster. They found while troubleshooting the coax that my booster was bad too. Make sure your turning the booster off before searching for channels on cable. The easiest way to tell if the booster is bad is to unhook the cable from where it goes into the booster and hook it straight to the TV. As for the landing gear, I never ran them up all the way. Mine would blow randomly. This is a common problem and most landing gears use auto resetting circuit breakers from the OEM. For what ever reason the Crusader does not.
