What bank do you use?

Nigel I thought you would argue the point red or white wine before you get all excited about diesel or gas.
And yes Nigel please let u sknow what bank gives you 3% on $10,000.
I want to get in on that deal.
See you and Bev soon in Southern Arizona.

I like Diesel.
Why?
Because my 6.0 gasser with 4l80e tranny sucked. Solution, stick a Duramax and Allison in my Suburban, sell the gas engine, problem solved, smiles all around. Makes that beer more satisfying after a long day of towing also.

Did you have Duraburb do it? They are the only people I am aware of that do a full factory Duramax swap.

I wonder how bad it was to retro fit the duramax wiring harness to the burb?

Eric at Duraburb is a great guy and on the front end of doing these swaps but I had a shop out of California do mine, they basically do it the same way Eric does.
Believe it or not the wiring harness for the Gasser and the Diesel is the same with exception of the wait to start light. It is lirerally plug and play, even the engine mounts work. This is really a cost effective solution if you need a powerfull full size SUV tow rig like we did. I really cant say enough good things about my Suburban, plus i didnt have to pay 60k for a new one and still end up with a gasser.
