I started a thread here but the moderator kicked it over to the middle of the "Show us your tow rig" thread under the General Forest River Discussion. I was lost in the crowd.

Here is Pic of my Burb, it looks stock with the exception of being a little taller. Plus a pic of our 318bhs we tow.

Towing in mountains ?? Or..not...Towing something more than 10,000 lbs for any distance ?? Do you want to invest more money... if buying a new truck ??

I've towed with both and prefer the diesel. In the mountains it just can't get any better, except maybe the Ecoboost. Dislikes for the diesel; diesel fuel costs more and it's harder to find in some places while towing an RV.

My diesel truck will be used for towing 85 % of the time...So.. the price of fuel is a non issue for me..

Hands down Diesel, towed the Tracer from Cincinnati to Myrtle Beach in 105-110 degree heat this summer. Truck didn't bark once, over the TN and NC mountains. Prior I would cringe with the Sequoia every time I'd approach a hill, not so much that it wouldn't get the job done but MAN DID IT SCREAM!!!!

I will dig some up, but it was suprisingly uneventful.

Under the hood looks stock GM.

Check out Diesel Place Forum under the Frankenstein section to see lots of great info on this swap.

Do a search for Duraburb and you should find some info. I would love their Duramax Tahoe myself.
