Dining floor slide out issue

ur two year old Prime Time Crusader 315RST is for sale. We had a buyer and upon inspection after they paid us, they noticed a separation of about 1/8 inch in the dining slide out and a flex in the floor. We were mystified, not having noticed it. They claimed water damage and a major repair and demanded money back.
Has anyone had any problems with their flooring/ slide out area. We are convinced it’s not a water issue., but a structural issue.
Trying to get someone to look at it ASAP, so we can sell it to make room for our new trailer.
Thanks
For your input.

Sounds more like buyers remorse to me. 1/8" separation? Any mold? Any delam, anything but normal wear and tear.?

It's up to you, but they bought a two year old RV. Approved of its condition, paid you and left. How do you know if they didn't walk or stand on slide out when in,? Pulling floor loose a little because of no support under it when stowed?

IMO,, warranty over when it left driveway

Did they show you an estimate for this major repair? Laws on this vary from state to state, but if you disclosed all issues in good faith and this is just nit picking, you're not likely to be held liable. I agree it sounds more like buyer's remorse, but if not, you may want to seek some true legal advice to be sure where you stand.

Yes, that is what we thought too..buyers remorse. I traveled back an hour to give them their money back. They had come in from another state and were going to stay the weekend in our camper. My husband has gone down to the camper to see if he can “fix” it.
We have had no issues with the camper..it’s in a seasonal spot and never been moved. Just wondered if anyone had any issue with the floor slide out in the Prime Time. We have loved te( camper, but time to get something bigger to use in retirement.

I own a 315 RST. Have weathered plenty of rain storms with slides out and slides in without any issue. No leaks. Figure they had buyers remorse. Your probably better off just sending them down the road as they would have surely come back to haunt you. Put it back on the market. It's a nice trailer and someone will jump on it.

Thank you..that is what we thought too!! However, We did find a problem on the board under the dining set. In the corner there appears to be some water damage and we are replacing the board and caulking the edges. We had no idea there was a problem. Depends what the professionals say tomorrow.

Update

So the pros have said we need to replace the floor in the dining room slider. A quote of $2500 from two pros. One suggested we contact Forest River..Prime Time to protest as it was probably a seal problem that caused the damage and after two years, it seems like poor construction. Anyone know who to contact at ForestRiver..their website shows only sales and service.
We are sick as it holds us up from getting our camper sold and putting our new trailer on the lot. Not happy campers

You found the correct place to get answers. It would come under the "service" catagory. Submit your info. on the form & be prepared to send whoever you are directed to detailed pics of the problem area.

Good luck!

Answer from Forest River

They responded that they looked up our warranty expired March 2017 and there is nothing they can do for us. Pretty bad workmanship for the floor to warp, due to a leak and separation of the the wall to the floor.
Not happy! I imagine our insurance will not cover it either
Will have to get repaired.
