Disappointed.

We are more disappointed every time we take our 315 crusader out. I wish we would have bought another Jayco.

The AC is short cycling all the time, the floor in the storage compartment is popped up, every trip we find more trim has came loose, and this last trip the auto level started acting up.

Have you worked with your dealer? Have you involved PT? If the rig is really as bad as you believe it is, trade it and move on.

Disappointed.

Heard plenty of jayco stories. All manufacturers build to a price point. Prime time is no different. They put a lot of features in for the $$$ and the rigs are pretty light for the size. I think getting a dealer who will address the first year issues is the key. After that they are pretty good. Mine has been great in the second year.
Having said that IF it was truly a source of pain for me I would move on. My first second choice would be the grand design Reflection. Good luck.

If it is under warranty get the dealer and PT to work with you, not going to even talk about floor and roof issues on Jayco products UGH

Our Sunline was perfect. we used it quite a bit for 6 years and the only thing to need replacement were some of the decals. The cleaner that I used was too harsh.

Our Flagstaff 829FKSS was pretty close. We had it back twice for some minor stuff and once to the factory for a larger repair. Everything turned out great. Our nightmares were a 1989 Mallard sprinter, a 1999 Wildwood fifth wheel and the king of problems, a 2006 HR Savoy.

If you can find a dealer with a great customer service rep that is most of the battle. Primetime rigs are every bit as good as keystones, rock woods, jayco etc. and in some ways better.

We are on the last thirty days of having our 325 for one year and have only had one light bulb blow since the day we picked it up ....not one other problem or issue at all - probably just put the mother of all jinxes on ourselves but hope the next twenty years with it are just as great !!!!

Had a lot of things to fix when first bought our 320RLT and took awhile to get all the bugs out. After 3 years and lots and lots of miles the trailer has been pretty good. Only problem I have now is the brown front cap oxidizing on the top.
When Prime Time first came out they would bend over backwards to make the consumer happy but now they are like the others. Would I recommend Prime Time to others? I would just say they're alright. Nothing outstanding about them.

Buying any mfg's rv today can be scary, do your homework. They all can have problems that need to be addressed. I think Prime time is better then most in quality.(based on the rv qc curve)

What unit are you looking at?

There used to be a member here RVGUY. He was a great source for PT and helped many FRF members through with a resolution. Is he still around?

Last Activity was 04-08-2014. Be nice if PT could get someone on the forum.
