I guess I am a FREAK I kind enjoy the rattle...the 6.0 and later diesels sound kinda funny. The GM is super quiet to me. I cannot ever see not owning at least a 3/4T and NEVER 2WD and cannot see not having a diesel. I will admit..I do not like what I hear and see with the diesel emissions...other than that. I am in.

Ps:I like hearing the turbo too

Most the reviews I seen Ford is lowest noise levels - Chevy has the best ride - Dodge has the best interior.

I've heard similar things as well. Want quick and quiet get a 6.7 Ford, for a smooth ride get a Chevy with the IFS. Ram is often described as a trucker's truck for its big rig sound and feel. All fine trucks and really excellent towing machines.

We have a 35ft 5th wheel Crusader. Originally we pulled with a F-250 Diesel. The truck was a 1995 and did a great job. We just recently bought a new Dodge 2500 Diesel with the tow package. It has more power than the Ford did and so far we love it.
