draining tanks

What is the best method to drain fresh water tank on a Lacrosse 296BHS? I opened the little drain by the low point drains. Seemed to take some time. Also curious if there are 2 grey water tanks. The monitor panel lists a grey water as well as a galley tank. Both show empty after using the grey tank valve. If there are two do I add tank treatments in different places? Will the tanks equalize? Thanks for the help.

You are draining your fresh tank correctly if you are twisting the white shut-off a 1/4 turn. It is located somewhere under your Exterior Conv Center.

All LaCrosse's have two grey tanks in addition to the black tank. When you pull the dump handle BOTH will drain and they will equalize.
