Drawer removal 2012 Crusader 290 RLT

Looking to remove draws on Crusader 290 and cannot figure how to release the stops when you pull out the draw.

Thanks for replying, I did see the release, but does not want to release, I tried pushing in the small plastic push tab, tried lifting the plastic catch with fingers but the stop does not release. I am not sure if I am missing something

With those type releases sometimes one side goes up while the other side goes down to release.

Not sure about yours but it was the same on my last 2 campers. On the side of each metal slide there are little plastic tabs or fingers. (Sounds like you found them) You need to push one side up and the other side down and the drawer will pull right out. These little "fingers" are skinny and don't look like they would do anything, but that is how it works on mine. I would post a pic but my phone won't let me.

I will give that a try, I did see that on other posts, but like you, It did not seem like they would do anything, I did try raising and lowering those fingers but not in opposite directions. Thanks for replying

Just to be clear, pull out on the drawer while holding the tabs up/down.

Does anybody have pics of the slide release mechanisms we're talking about here? I couldn't figure out how to remove mine either.

I'm heading to my RV tomorrow to de-winterize which will involve pulling some drawers to get to the hot water heater. I will take some photos of the tabs and post them for posterity if no one else has them handy...look for them Monday evening.

Here is a pic. You can see the little black "finger" sticking out. Push the finger down on one side and pull up on the the other while pulling the drawer and it should slide right out.

Thanks, howie70. That's what mine look like. I have a couple drawers where the catch under the drawer needs to be adjusted so it doesn't scrape the bottom of the drawer.

Good pix Howie... thks . for that.
Itat...just first extend the drawer as far is it will come out by itelf. Then press down on one plastic piece and up on the other while continuing to pull the drawer out. If that doesn't work...switch up & down choice and keep pulling the drawer outwards.
Going back in...you don't have to press the plastic...just get it properly in the track and push gently.
You'd think FR might see fit to include this tidbit in their instruction manuals. My dealers service dept. guy I spoke to didn't know the up/down trick. Sheesh...how many hours have been wasted on this!!

This shows plastic release fully after drawer removal...pushing on the curved side...whether it is up or down will release the little stopper tab.

Finally got a chance to pull the drawers today. It's the large drawers under the u-shaped dinette that have the problem. On both, the catch mechanism under the drawer is rubbing against the bottom of the drawer as you pull it out causing a loud squeal. There's no way to adjust the catch mechanism, avens if I pull up on the drawer as I pull them out, they still squeal.

The bottom material is a bit thin and if you put any weight in the drawer it rubs. One of them squeals even without anything in it.

Has anybody else had this problem and found a solution?
