I have been ordered to fix this. Help me RV GUY.
Have the same problem with our Sabre and bed platform. I bought the clear rubber corner protectors from the infants department. They use them to protect the child from bumping into corners when little. They fasten on with sticky back tape. Works great, no more stubbed toes when I make the bed and because they are clear, no "trashy" look. You actually can't even see them unless you look for them.

We added baby proofing to the lower corners of our bed in brown. Since it's low, it blends in. Wouldn't you know- once I added that, I haven't kicked my shin since!

Talking

I'd do the 45deg cut to both corners. What's the worst that could happen?

Entertaining AND informative. There is always the Bill Engvall approach...house shoes with headlights. Lol. Good luck with the mods.

Stepping back, OldCoot, did I miss the awning mod? Curious about this?

Thanks

I just want to know if this is the worst problem encountered with the Sanibel 3600. We would order one in a skinny minute if it could be purchased with a residential refrigerator. Just saw one with the full body paint and it would look just perfect behind our new black beauty TV.

You can get the 3500 with the Res. Refer (called a 3501). We have had the 3500 for about 6 months now and the only problem was the hide-a-bed, which they've switched brands on. We love it!

I know. Not quite sure why they offer it only in the shorter version. The 3501 is a beautiful unit as well but we are looking for a full-time unit with a little more space. I heard a few others make similar comments at the Austin RV Expo. (We spent an awful lot of time in both of these units on display there.) Prime Time may be missing the boat by offering it only in the one smaller floorplan.

You do know that there is a whole 5" of overall length difference between the 3501 and the 3600, right?

The model designation is not length, and really just a model number...3501 is 39' and the 3600 is 39' 5". Main differnce is the 3600 has the island kitchen, and the 3501 is the L shaped kitchen layout.
