DW not happy
On our Sanibel 3600, DW stubbed her big toe on the box corner under the bed. She would like RV GUY to know that, if the box had rounded corners and it was made 4" smaller, her toes would be painless.
I have been ordered to fix this. Help me RV GUY.

IF you have a bedroom slide I thing you may be .... Well, lets say in trouble .
As the bed base normally is just a bit bigger than the slide mechanism !
I would suggest installing a foam noodle to save the dw's piggies!
JUST my 2 pennies !

DW said a getto mod is not an option on a $82,0000.00 coach.

Break out the saw. Amazing things can be accomplished after a few brews.

DH is getting me another cold one....The empties are lining up! Are you suggesting a chamfered corner to eliminate said problem? Ya know we can do that! Let's see 24 pack and sawzall! Problem solved!

Be easier to go ahead and let her stub her toe 1/2 a dozen times and learn not to do it anymore. I mean I didn't hear anything about YOU stubbing your toe. Just smarter then the bed frame is all that's required

This looks to be a Sanibel 3600 floorplan - not sure how you would modify this - It is attached to the slide - but maybe cut the side/front and make a ~45 across from the front to side instead of meeting at a 90??

Wouldn't that stick out more? I say chamfer the corner 45 degrees and be done with it. The edge indent of the chamfered edge wouldn't have to be that deep. To fill the corner wouldn't be that difficult and it could be in line with the radius edge of the platform as well as the mattress.
