as for the table, i had the early model that had a metal base that lowered....i changed mine to the post type, but ive used it with the shorter 15" legs from CW and it works perfect as a bed.....if your gonna fix it i would suggest using the shorter poles they held my 200+ sitting right on them just fine.....ive never liked the strip on the seating idea.....the seat just isnt thick enough...

as for the latch if all else fails and you want out cheap you can replace just the cylinder portion..even have them keyed the same too.....

My friend told me about the recall, his Jayco had the same problem. The dealer didn't sound to surprised. I will definitely look into have them all keyed the same. Locksmith or Camping store?
I have the post type bed also. I will check out CW for the 15" posts.
The bars, I bought, max out at 1500. I was on the 5th link from the end of the chain. The bars had a bend to them. I'm guessing these hitches are trial and error, till you get it set up right. After four 5th wheels, this is a new beginning. After 30 years, I'm a new guy.
Thanks for all your help. Bob

Has anyone had issues with the strut mounts on the outside kitchen?? Found that the one towards the rear of the camper was pivoting when the door was opening and closing, tried to tighten the screws and it worked about 2 times and then went back to pivoting as it was opening and closing, this becomes a issue as the fridge door scraps the top.

my struts at the bottom worked the tiny screws loose and thus the strut........i put some wood glue n toothpicks in the hole then when dried i put struts back on with a bigger screw......

although i have noticed now that it takes a while for the strut to fully extend, so if i try and open the fridge door too quick it will hit the door.....but after a few seconds, or if i push it open fully its fine. fridge door is flipped, so the door opens on the right now instead of the left, like it came originally

Hope your lacrosse is better than ours. Ours is 3 years old, problems with the flushing system (was never hooked up and we ended up with water all over the kitchen floor, ac is now not working and have had to seal several windows due to leaks. And it is at a stationary spot) I would never buy another cheaply made
