And BFG All Terrain T/A KO's are great off road in mud, sand and snow but chunk real bad on gravel roads.

You could be easily correct on the gravel road deal. I have all terrains now. I have had mud terrains and all terrains on several different trucks of course. The michelins I had were on the truck I have now and were a snow type tire. I had minimal experience with off rids and location..with the michelins. The all terrains wear very well for a semi aggressive tire. I hate paying 14-1500 dollars for tires every other year. That's the reason for the high mileage tires. Yes, the a/t's chunk rocks when they are new for sure.

Just a FYI.

This morning I took my PU over to the DT store where I bought my tires and wheels for a scheduled rotation.
Not only did they rotate the tires they also spun balanced them and air checked all for free....

2011 F350 6.7, replaced the stock Michelins with Nitto Terra Grappler's (18"). Huge improvement!! The Michelin's sucked in snow, mud, and anything other than dry pavement. But, with 800 ft/lbs of torque, it's hard to get any tire to stick!

When I was looking for tires a few years ago, everyone was saying Bridgestone REVO, Firestone Destination AT or BFG TAKO. I had the TAKOs on the truck already and hated them(no traction on wet roads). The REVOs were pricey so I went with the Destinations. The tires have been great and I always recommend them to anyone looking for truck tires. Everyone I know that has them likes them and almost 30 million people on tire rack agree.

x2 on the destinations, I am on my second set on my sport trac and second set on my daughters escape (both 2wd ) Got great mileage out of them and no complaints on traction wet or dry till they were functionally worn out (over 50k miles)
I have Firestone Trans force on my F350 and have been happy with them also
