Fall colors

Well, here we are October and it's time to view the fall colors so where is everyone going to view the fall foliage ? In 2 weeks we're heading for Shenandoah National Parks staying at Big Meadows Campground along Skyline drive.

Chime in and let us know.

Canadian Thansgiving

We will be camping over the Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend at Restoule Provincial Park in Northeastern Ontario. It is next weekend and the leaves are already changing. Hopefully the weather will be like last year.

Keep us all informed about the colors in the Smokies. I'm not able to get away until the end of Oct. Gonna stay @ the Cherokee KOA and ride the Tail of The Dragon. Hope to have some color left that late in the season.

Wildcat661 - Coming down to the banana belt, eh? We live near Powassan, but this weekend are at Samuel Champlain PP on Hwy 17. Colour is really turning.
Good thing we have an electric heater with us. Propane has quit, regulator, I think. Microwave for cooking!

We just returned this past Monday from the White Mountains in New Hampshire. There fall colors were near peak when we left.

It's an annual trip for us.We've been doing it for many years. No hook ups for sure none the less it's a campground with a good many pull thru sites and alot of outdoor stuff to do for sure. Can't wait till the 11th.

How about you RattVatter, what do you have planned ?

Yep, Deep Creek is about an hour and a half from us. We go to Garrett County quite often. Our youngest son lives in Garrett County and runs the state highway shop in Oakland...BRRRRR if you know what I mean

Have fun in sunny Florida.
