On a tangent, the whole "Chinese tire bomb" thing seems way over used. I firmly believe if the tires are used (not just sitting for months on end), inflated to the right specs, 5 years old or younger, loaded at the max or below, and run at 65 or below they will have little to no problems. Take care of them and they'll take care of you. There are always exceptions to the rule, and maybe the OP is the exception in this case, but I haven't read many threads with an OP admitting fault.

I sort of agree with you here - I have read some good things about the CB's and mostly bad things about them.
My own experience with the tires installed on my new 2102 Silverback is as follows:
The tires were Trail Express ST235/R16 Load range E (I know there are more digits/letters there, but I don't have that info here now. I inflated them (cold) to 80 PSI and never traveled above 65 MPH.
I keep a mileage log of how far I pull my 5FW and the right rear tire blew at 8,868 miles and I replaced the remaning three at 9,032 miles. This was in Colorado coming home after traveling in very hot weather in TX,NM,AZ,CA,UT,and CO this past July.
I have been told that 2 years and/or 10,000 miles is what you can expect out of any RV tire that is kept properly inflated, not overloaded and pulled at or below the rated speed limit.
Did I do good or was I just lucky? I don't know, but that is my experience.
