Finally we're going camping!
Work, a few health issues and an ongoing personal project has kept us from going. Usually I have 3 or 4 camping trips under my belt by this time, but I haven't even de-winterized the trailers yet!
I'll get that done tomorrow.
I have inspected the trailer and a couple of weekends ago my wife and 4 grandaughters spent 2 nights in the trailer. Everything seems to be in good working order. Temps got down into the 30's at night and they stayed nice and warm.
We have a trip planned for Easter weekend.
All the grandkids, their parents too, will be joining us. So that means I need to get the LaCrosse and the popup ready!
We're planning on 3 nights, maybe 4 if possible at our local State Park. We'll take our usual hikes and play games like ladder ball. Maybe a couple of outdoor movie nights. The park also has a big Easter Egg Hunt for the kids.
We'll also be doing some fishing for crappie. I haven't even got a hook wet yet, but my wife has been several times and has a few bags of fillets in the freezer. Hopefully we'll catch enough to have a nice fish fry either Saturday or Sunday afternoon. I still have some "Special Batter" that I received from a secret source. Really good stuff. I can taste it already!
