First trip in New Crusader

Our first trip is scheduled for this weekend. We have had rain every weekend the month of April. They are calling for Sunny skies this weekend so lets just hope the weather doesn't change. I will make sure to post pictures after the weekend.

Hey Neighbor
Congratulations on your new camper.
I know what you mean about the rain. We are camping in Bullitt county this weekend, and we're hoping to stay dry for a couple of days. With the exception of one week in Florida, we have been rained on, or snowed on, every time we have had this camper out.
By the way, where is Mayslick Ky?

We are in Mason County. We are right on the Ohio River about 60 miles north of Lexington and 60 miles south of Cincinnati. We are going to Blue Licks State park this weekend.

Have a great trip and I hope the sun shines the whole time.

We just had a very rainy weekend camping and I loved every minute of it!

We have stayed at Blue Licks a couple of times. We usually go to either Paintsville Lake State Park (our favorite) or to one of the campgrounds near Louisville (where our families live) This weekend it is KOA in Shepherdsville.
We live in Irvine about forty miles SE of Lexington.

We have been in the same boat here in Ohio. The rain has hit a record for the month. We have our second trip planned this weekend, and the weather looks good so far...

We went to Paintsville Lake State park last year. It was wonderful! We went to Jenny Wiley and rented a pontoon and had the best time. We are so luck to be in Kentucky and have so many state parks right at our fingertips. We are going to Kincaid Lake (Falmouth Ky) next weekend then Greenbo Lake Memorial day weekend.
