I AM......camping that is....
All the repairs(minor) made by the dealer seem to be good to go. I need to play with the pressure in the Air Lift bags a little. Getting a little bouncing and chucking. Think the Navy would notice if I didn't show up to work on Monday? I can't wait to do this for a living

Here's from this morning. The family is still sleeping and I'm enjoying my morning coffee in peace and quiet The pine pollen is brutal here, when the wind blows you can see the yellow clouds blowing around

Great looking set up. That peaceful, quiet, morning coffee is hard to beat.

My tt is still covered with the pine pollen from last weekend and I've been sneezing all week. I'll be giving the tt a good wash tomorrow.

We'll be out again next weekend. I have family coming down to camp with us. I'll set up Thursday night after I get home from work. Friday morning I'll drive up to OKC to get the MH and bring it down and set it up. By the time my BIL gets off work it would be dark before they could make it down, so I offered to go get it and set it up for them. My brother will bring his 5'er down. We could end up with a dozen adults or more and maybe a half dozen kids, the oldest being 9. We only seem to be able to camp together like this once or maybe twice a year.
The fishing my wife and I have done this past month will payoff. We have more than enough for a good fish fry at the campground.

That sounds like fun. None of our friends/family have rv's except my mom/step dad. They live in NW Pa, a little too far for a weekend trip. They are taking their 2 week vacation in the July and we're meeting them for a long weekend on Va's eastern shore.

We kind of missed each other last weekend. We could have fried some fresh out of the lake. Hopefully we can get together sometime this summer and fry some up then.

I guess you're about to find out how roomy that 5'er really is.

Stay safe and be ready to get to a shelter, such as the bathhouse, as quick as you can. Sometimes you have less than a minute's warning, so have a plan and be prepared.

Storm's over, rained its butt off but no real wind. Hey, I got all the pollen washed off the truck and trailer..LOL!! Power flickered a couple times but never went out. We played Clue and Uno till the storm passed.

Well......I guess we weren't as safe as we thought.....actually we're just damn lucky. They had a number of tornado's come through the area last night. One touched down only about 1 mile from the campground. Several homes and 3 lives lost (so far) in Gloucester Va. We drove through the carnage on our way home this afternoon. Looking back I think we heard it. I played it off as thunder but my wife was convinced it was something else. It was a rumble sound but lasted about 10 seconds then about a minute later it did it again for about 5 seconds.

My prayers go out for those lost in ths storm and their families.

When those type of storms move through here we usually continue doing things as usual, but we always have the TV or radio on and watch or listen to the weather reports. I also have a weather alert radio that I take with us when camping. This time of year a day can be perfect and then before you know it.....

If your campground doesn't have a storm shelter then use the next best thing, such as the bathhouse. Anything is better than an RV. If you have kids, make sure they know the plan.

Yea, tornado's aren't something we normally worry about around here. Hurricanes are our thing. No early warning sirens or anything like it that I know of. We followed the whole storm on the news and knew our half of the state was in a tornado watch/warning. Definitely something I'll be more conscious of/take more seriously of in the future.
