Forest River 2nd yr warranty?

I not looking for the warranty to be free, this would be a good option when purchasing a new unit! When I bought my trailer I got an extended warranty from my dealer which cost about $700.00, going through a third party which is questionable at best. I would have rather gone through the company that made the trailer to warranty it for additional years. I know what I got with the first year of service and what I will get in the future!,also as a new customer looking at different rv companys this would be a good selling point and a another reason to go with PT knowing that they will stand behind all there products for years to come! The deciding factor for my previous trailer was a 2nd year warranty that came with the unit, at the time the rv industry started going away from 2nd year warranties! Looking at the other forums there are a lot of middle of the road rvs i guess not considered luxurious class with 2nd year options!

Well it is like insurance, your darned if you do and darned if you dont.

I purchased an extended 5 year warranty to get a total of 6 years on my trailer for 1400 (can $) with 50 or 100 deductible depending on what is wrong.

I think it was worth it.

I looked into the good Sam ESP. Sounds good...except it's only good for 3 years....almost all the parts in my camper already have a 3 year warranty. At least 2... I'd like to get something to protect me for like 5 yeas after my bumper to bumper runs out...I don't want to pay for a warranty to run concurrent with the one I get for free..
