Forest River 2nd yr warranty?
Does PrimeTime offer this warranty option?

FR only offers the 2nd year warranty on their original lines.
the newer acquisition lines, like Coachmen, Shasta and PrimeTime don't get it.

I just called today about my Lacrosse 318BHS and they don't offer the second year warranty.

I have heard good things about the good Sam extended serviceman....and intend to look more into it..

Not bad at all...I will be contact them this week. I don't want to get it probably for 2 years yet. The unit comes with a 1 year bumper to bumper and almost all the components are covered by each manufacturer form2 years....have to find all this out. Thanks again though...that price is not bad..which leads me to believe their other prices are probably pretty reasonable as well..

While I was going thru the final paperwork for our Sanibel with the dealer, he noted that we could purchase an extended warranty. I told him that Prime Time provides a two year warranty per their website, their Sanibel brochure and in our list of options in our contract, listing Forrest River 2 year warranty at no charge.

Clarification for all - Sanibel2012 is correct but that only applies to the Sanibel product line.

Buyers in this class of product are typically considering products with 2 year warranties and they will often have a higher expectation of the warranty since they are frequently "full time" to some degree. So, we built-in the Forest River 2nd Year Warranty to the base cost of the product for competitive reasons.

RV Guy, I am glad Prime Time decided to go with the 2 year warranty on the Sanibel 5th wheels. I for one am glad to have the 2nd year added at no cost (ok built in). The 2nd year warranty does keep the Sanibel line very competive with the other four season fifth wheels on the market today. There are many other things that also make the Sanibel a contender in the luxury fifth wheel market including many items are standard on the Sanibel that are options on other brands.
