So I took my water bay apart and have been looking for this location with not much clarity looks like a bunch of spaghetti with tubes everywhere, I have a single white hose that looks as if it's going to the underbelly were the fresh tank is. Is there anything specific I should be looking for?

installed the Camco 23303 1/2" Back-Flow Preventer needed a few copper lead free fittings to make it work but it's installed now. Now I will test it out next weekend hope this solves the overflow issues it's getting old.

I have this problem from time to time. Do you have an antifreeze port?

I turn the 3way valve and it stops the tank from filling by sending it to the winterization route which has another valve. If that leaks too I need a new pressure regulator...hopefully what you did addresses your issue. The issue I have is remembering to turn it back before turning on the pump...

I did the same check valve mod a few years back. Stopped the back flow problem however pump delivery was cut by 80%. Had to remove the valve.

You would not have needed any adapters had you placed it on the other side of the pump next to the screen, plus you wouldn't have had to remove the pump from the RV.

5 minutes and no tools...just your fingers to install!

Either you had another issue or would have been better off to put the check valve in front of the pump instead of after it.

Did you check the screen to see if it was clogged?

Yea I thought about that as well but decided to keep it the same as it came from PT since it's working other than the overfill issue. Also, I cut a hole in one of the baggage bay panels near the docking station, made a small door that opens so I can see the pump and strainer now without having to take everything apart.

Hi JohnD10, there was no other issue, when the valve was removed pump performance returned to normal. Mechanical engineers handbooks will advise never install accessories in the the pump suction, it may lead to pump starvation and damage. My pump was mounted above the fresh water tank, suction head was at a premium. The pump internalnon return valve is a small diameter nylon ball never shown on drawings. It fowls easily and easily cleared as outlined in an earlier post, that’s how I solved the overflow problem. Keep the tank one level below full and push the button when you happen by.

So far the valve is doing the trick no issues in 24 hrs will report back on Monday. Now the tank sensors have gone wonky fix one issue then the next one pops up never a dull moment.

I leave that panel off to see what is going on behind docking station. Full timed for 2 years and I want to see that area all
the time to see leaks etc. Many leaks can occur their also easy access to pump.
